The medieval brewing town of Freistadt, in the heart of the Mühlviertel, has impressive and quickly fully preserved defense systems and impresses with small alleys and courtyards, which can also be visited in the course of a guided tour. A special summer highlight is the international street art festival « Festival Fantastika » in Freistadt’s old town from June 30th to July 1st, 2023.
